Mrs. Steese is a graduate of Warner Robins High School and she has had the good fortune to complete all of her years of teaching in Houston County. While at WRHS she was very active in the chorus, was a member of BETA club, and met her husband in homeroom during their senior year. She has a double major bachelor's degree in mathematics and education (1992) from Georgia College, gifted certification through RESA (2005), and master's degree in mathematics education from Georgia College (2014). She has 11 years' experience teaching middle school and has been teaching high school since 2003, where she has taught all grade levels (9 - 12).
While at PHS, Mrs. Steese has been involved with the Perry Math League, the Gaming Club, The Sunshine Committee, and National Honor Society. She is currently co-sponsoring in BETA club and in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She has experience teaching almost all of the math courses offered at PHS.
Mrs. Steese has been married since 1987 to John, the love of her life. She is the mother of 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Drew/Amber and Jamie/Camree. She also has 2 fur babies, Katie and Maggie, and 2 fur grandbabies, Oreo and Freya. Her mother currently lives with she and her husband. She is an active member of Henderson Baptist Church, where John is the minister of youth and music, and loves being in the choir. She is blessed to be part of so many wonderful lives.
Mrs. Steese loves to do puzzles, watch movies, and eat popcorn. She loves to laugh with her family and she loves the Lord. Life is good.
