Subjects Taught

I received my ED.S in Curriculum and Instruction through Piedmont College in the summer of 2014. I received a Masters in Science Education through the University of Georgia in 2010.  I also received a Bachelors of Science in Biology through Georgia Southern University.

I started my teaching career at Perry High School in 2011. I have taught Biology, Environmental Science, Phsyical Science and AP Environmental Science .   Before starting my teaching career, I was an environmental educator at Rock Eagle 4-H Center from 2008-2011.  I was very fortunate to teach students from pre-K all the way to college.  Classes I taught included environmental science, ecology, outdoor skills, and team building. Aside from teaching I also took care of the needs of repitles, amphibians, bird of prey, fish, bees, and insects.  I gained a lot of skills and knowledge that I use every day in my science classroom.
