Hi! I'm Bethany Copeland and I have been teaching since 2007. I grew up in Perry and have been married since 2002 to my high school sweetheart.  My husband and I graduated from Perry High School in 2001, and we took advantage of opportunities such as the Perry High School Theatre for Performing Art, the Panther Regiment band (once called "The Pride of the Crossroads") and various other clubs and teams. We have two sons who also graduated from PHS. 

After attending Georgia Tech, where I fell in love with history, I transferred to Georgia College in Milledgeville where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in history. I then completed my Master's in Education. I have taught in Baldwin, Greene, and Peach Counties prior to arriving home in Houston County. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga, and trying to convince my husband to let me adopt more dogs.
