Bio
Hello! I am excited to begin my fifth year teaching Physical Science. I am a proud graduate of Albany State University and have completed my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University. I am currently pursuing my Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction at Liberty University. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I serve as the Assistant Coach for Track and Field as well as the Assistant Coach for the Girls Flag Football team.
My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, engaging, and rigorous learning environment where all students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning. I believe in meeting students where they are academically while maintaining high expectations and providing meaningful opportunities for growth. Through hands-on instruction, real-world connections, and consistent communication, I strive to help students develop both scientific understanding and lifelong learning skills.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, shopping, and traveling. I am passionate about fostering student success in science and supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom.
