The 2022 football season marks the 6th year for Coach Kevin Smith at the helm of the Panther Program. Coach Smith has served Houston County school system. for 23 years. He served 16 years at Northside High School and coached the defensive staff at Northside High School with 4 of those years as Defensive Coordinator. Coach Smith also served as a defensive coach at Houston County High School for 3 years. Prior to coaching in Houston County, Coach Smith spent 2 years on the defensive staff at Griffin High School. Coach Smith is a 1988 graduate of LaGrange High School. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1994 with a B.S. in Physical Education. He completed his masters in physical education in 2004 from the University of Alabama. Coach Smith also completed his specialist degree in Leadership in 2009 from Lincoln Memorial University. Kevin is married to Monica and has 3 children: Sarah, Morgon & Steele.
