My name is LaTonya Thomas, and I am proud to be a part of the Perry Panther family.
I bring greetings to you as we embark upon the new school year.
I taught at Northside Middle School for the past three years after relocating to Warner Robins, Georgia. I previously taught mathematics for 18 years and served as LEA Facilitator for 4 years in The Muscogee County School District. Previously, I taught in Marion County School District for 2 years.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Tuskegee University, Master's Degree in Education from Columbus State University, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Troy State University (Now Troy University). I also hold a Georgia Reading Endorsement and a Teacher Support and Coaching Endorsement.
I am married to my husband Darryl and we are the parents of twin girls, Kennedy and Khloe.
I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures growth in a positive, yet fun environment. . My motto is “TOGETHER WE CAN, TOGETHER WE WILL!
