Dr. Renee Arflin graduated as valedictorian of Rutland High School in 2007. Dr. Arflin enjoyed participating in many clubs in high school including math team, literary club, BETA Club, tennis team, and as Drum Major of the Pride of the Hurricanes Marching Band. Dr. Arflin graduated with a Bachelors in English from Georgia College and State University in 2010. She received her Masters in Teaching from Georgia College and State University in 2011. She received her EdS in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. She completed her Doctorate in Education from Liberty University in 2023. Dr. Arflin begin teaching at Houston County High School in 2011 and at Perry High School in 2018. Dr. Arflin supports all students in both the small group and co-teach English classrooms. Dr. Arflin works at Perry High School as an English teacher and Department Chair.
