Mrs. Renee Lee graduated as valedictorian of Rutland High School in 2007. Mrs. Lee enjoyed participating in many clubs in high school including math team, literary club, BETA Club, tennis team, and as Drum Major of the Pride of the Hurricanes Marching Band. Mrs. Lee graduated with a Bachelors in English from Georgia College and State University in 2010. She received her Masters in Teaching from Georgia College and State University in 2011. While working on her degrees, Mrs. Lee worked as a caregiver at Children's Friend Learning Center and a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center. She received her EdS in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. Mrs. Lee's EdS thesis focused on the influence of career mentors to prepare students for a successful transition. Mrs. Lee began teaching at Houston County High School in 2011 and at Perry High School in 2018. Mrs. Lee supports all students in both the small group and co-teach classrooms. Mrs. Lee works at Perry High School as an English teacher and Department Chair.
