Coach Steven Spurley is a native of Decatur, Georgia where he attended Dunwoody High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Albany State University , his Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University, and his Educational Specialist from Liberty University. He is also the  Defensive Coordinator for the Perry High School football team. He has been teaching Physical Education for 14 years, coaching for 17 years, and is excited to enter 6th year here at Perry High School.  

Coach Spurley is married to Mrs. Monika Spurley and they have two beautiful daughters, Shiloh and Salem.
