The 2023-24 school year marks the start of my 30th year teaching. A resident of Macon, Georgia, I live with my husband, Grant, who is also an educator. I graduated from Georgia College and State University in 1994 with B.A. in English and Secondary Education. Since then, I have also obtained my M.Ed. in English Education and an Ed.S. in Teacher Leadership from Kennesaw State University. In addition to my responsibilities as a teacher at PHS, I also work part-time as an AP Instructional Coach for The National Math and Science Initiative and as an AP Reader for The College Board.
