
Bio
Ms. Jackson graduated from undergraduate school at Middle Georgia State University (formerly Macon State College) in 2012 and received a Bachelor's of Arts in English, an Associate of Arts in Spanish, and completed a minored in Information Technology. While teaching, she received a Master's in Secondary Education from Georgia College and State University in 2015. She also earned a Specialist in Secondary Education at the University of West Georgia in 2022.
Ms. Jackson started her teaching career at Southwest High School and Law Academy in Macon, GA from 2012-2015 and has continued her career at Perry High School. She has taught regular and honors Literature and Composition for grades 9-11 including Advanced Placement (AP) English Language and Composition. She is certified to teach grades 6-12 English/Language Arts courses, gifted students, reading and literacy, Advanced Placement (AP) English Language and Compositio,n and Advanced Placement (AP) English Literature and Composition courses.
