Bio

Dr. Tyler Rodgers is a 2009 graduate of Perry High School and is excited to begin his 12th year as a teacher and coach at his Alma Mater. He received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southwestern State University, master’s and specialist degree from Piedmont College, and doctorate degree from Liberty University.    

Prior to joining administration in 2025, Dr. Rodgers has taught history for 10 years and he is now teaching Health this year. He has also coached a variety of sports while at Perry High School. He has been a varsity football coach for 10 years, Head/Assistant golf coach for 11 years, and Head/Assistant Girls Basketball Coach for 4 years. He also served as the Varsity Wide Receivers coach for the PHS football team and Head Golf Coach for Perry High School.   

Dr. Rodgers has been married to his wife Cally Rodgers for 8 years. They are the proud parents of their three children, Everleigh, Adley, and Beckett.
